Mostly illustrated with black and white photos,maps,charts and illustrations, the book documents 15 enigmatic and mostly landlocked treasures from around the world. Some of them are well known treasures like the supposed Merovingian Hoard from Rennes-Le-Chateau in France and Superstition Mountain in Arizona USA. What struck was the lengths some people went to hid their treasure and the what treasure hunters were prepared to do to find it including murder.
