I really enjoyed this book. It was an excellent crash course in world history, and it’s aptly titled. The organization of the book, however, was a little all over the place, however, which was a bit confusing at times. (This is why I docked the rating by one star.) I do recommend it as a read.

Where do we live? What do we own? The author explores how we might think about our economy in new ways by including religious sources of wisdom and morality in our vision of a just and humane economic future.

Saying No and then taking steps, charting a new course with first steps, may require bold and radical action, which will be the front lines of a new moral economy. Head lays out the basic questions to be addressed in envisioning a moral economy.… (mehr)
