This book, Dogs, could be used as a guided readinng book or picture book, but I am choosing to place it in the guided reading book. This text about dogs is informational, looking at the habits of dogs, how they raise families, and how wild dogs act in the wild. This book has great pictures/ layout to each page, making the information easily accessible for children to look at and read. The pictures that go along with each title page really help students understand what they're reading. I would use this as a guided reading book to see how much information students can comprehend and tell back to me without memorizing the information.… (mehr)
