Pretty good. A little different spin on things, more commanding troops than individual fighting RPG

the number of perspective changes were not for me. Also I could't follow the motivations of the characters. sorry - but not as good as the first one.

Nice change to have a commander class instead of a single hero. I don't have any military experience myself but it read believable.
Wonder where this will lead to. Book 2 will be read soon.
