Who could resist the lure of a Herter's catalogue? From the cover--the authentic world source for fishermen, hunters, guides, gunsmiths, law enforcement officers, tackle makers, forest rangers, commercial fishermen, trappers, explorers, precious gems for investors, couturier textiles and yarns.
I haven't a clue if the recipes are any good, but the book reveals an interesting mind.
George Herter provides straightforward information on how to mount animals. He has an amazing range of animals in this book, not just North American species.
