Algonquin Books of Chapel Hill

The Algonquin Reader provides sneak previews (summaries and excerpts) of their publications. I find the Reader essential in choosing new books to purchase or borrow, mostly because I have been well rewarded with those books introduced to me in its pages. I strongly recommend that every true book-lover at least peruse Algonquin's free Readers which are published at four (4) Times per year. Really liked this gift from Algonquin, which gave glimpses into several novels (all of which I intend to read; one of which I have, thus far) as well as an essay from each author about the book, what inspired it, etc. I like that glimpse into the author's psyche. Like a little book panel in print.
