The book is almost like a bibliography of the author Angelika and her adventures studying lions. Its a good information about Lions in their natural habitat, it talks about their habits, and the nature of the animals.

This is an informational book of two people who researched lions for a year in africa, it incorporates information about all stages of life and the ecosystem they live in. It also has some cultural ties to africa.

This is a good example of an informational book. It is very detailed and has a lot of pictures to go along with the words so students would be able to read and see what they're learning. It is sort of set up like a story, but not in that it takes away from the integrity of the information. It follows one lion family, but some of the information is pretty general as far as lions go.
