The book was fairly quick I did however find that it felt rushed, I wish they would have developed the characters better. Whitney and Sam didn't grab me like some characters tend to do and you are rooting for them, with these two I didn't feel that and I also felt like the issue within families was never really given or answered. I did however like the secondary characters.

From heartbreaking grief, to emotional reawakening, Ms. Hoopes tale is one of courage, devotion and second chances. A tragedy changes the course of two peoples lives, but a promise has the power to heal their broken hearts. I am new to this particular author, however anytime a story lingers on the mind for days on end, it's obvious she made an impression.
