A very comprehensive book on tennis, comprising a variety of techniques, tactics and strategy, drills and tips. There is a very detailed and helpful Drill Finder Chart at the beginning of the book and adequate charts and illustrations throughout. I liked the precision and order in which the techniques and drills are described: each one starts with Objective, then Description, Execution, Variations and Tips - all clearly defined. This is a very well organized reference book for tennis coaches and players who can easily look up specific drills for improving skill sets. The table at the beginning provides an easy lookup by drill, level and skill. I am an older recreational tennis player and I will be trying to use these drills now that winter is over to have some fun and see what I can improve. My only criticism is that a few more diagrams of a line art simple close up animation type would be useful to show the ball and racket as the racket swings through the ball on some of the basic strokes.… (mehr)
