Nearly all of these rugs are hooked. One is braided in a rather unusual technique, with braids laid side by side instead of coiled. I've never been very successful with a rug hook, but this would be an excellent book for someone who likes that craft. Wonderful use of lots of reused, recycled textiles creates unusual effects, and there are many contributors so the rugs are very different and quite artistic.
