Arthurian Myths and Alchemy: The Kingship of Edward IV von Jonathan Hughes
Don't buy or read it, Hughes is a bad historian who mangles references, makes poor arguments and assumes a great deal. His understanding of George Ripley and alchemy is wrong in every way possible.
I am somewhat doubtful of the importance Hughes gives to alchemy in fourteenth century England, but that is based more on an article he wrote than this book, which I have not finished reading. so I should withhold judgment for now. His ideas may be odd, but he has had serious grants and teaching positions and is apparently a respected scholar.
