This book might be used to inspire kids to invent and illustrate their own brilliant ideas that turn out to have been very bad ideas. The examples in the book are not funny enough to make it worth reading.

This book is full of bad ideas and a ton of details to go along with those bad ideas. I would use this book to help the students decide what is important to know or not. This lesson would be a littler more arbitrary as not everyone might think the same things are important, but it would be a great stepping off point for further books in this category.

Cute... full of lots of not to dos for my boys. Some were so foreign they wouldn't have thought of them in the first place and some I had to completely explain (like Bad Idea #11)!

The illustrations make this book! The words are great and so is the concept, but the illustrations make it a million times better. The book tells about different things this particular child has done that turn out to be bad ideas, and he has made a list of what he thought would be fun and turned out to be bad ideas.
