This magisterial work took three years to assemble and it is indispensable for understanding the prolific and outstanding work of the most underrated songwriter in the history of rock. This text features track by track comments by the songwriter.
This is representative of the live shows of the time and also with Mick Ronson.
This was not one of Ian’s top sellers although live at least one song, Gun Control, has been played and reworked, in recent gigs.
This was Ian‘s first solo LP which featured the biggest hit of his solo career Once Bitten, Twice Shy. It started Ian off well after leaving the semi successful Mott The Hoople.
