Nella notte del 2 marzo 1953 c'è un uomo che sta per passare a miglior vita. Non è un uomo qualsiasi, ma il dittatore e tiranno Joseph Stalin, il Segretario Generale dell'Unione Sovietica. I, Partridge: We Need To Talk About Alan von Alan Partridge
This is the autobiography of the fictional character Alan Partridge, the chat show host from the tv show Knowing Me, Knowing You with Alan Partridge. In my opinion that's one of the funniest tv shows ever (on a par with BBC's The Office).

This book is as funny as the tv show. I actually laughed out aloud many times - something which I almost never do while reading. I also felt compelled to quote passages from the book to anybody that would listen - there were just so many hilarious parts. Highly recommended.… (mehr)

The death of Stalin
This film is a fiction, not a documentary. It's a darkly comic look at the small group of buffoons and psychopaths who ran the Soviet Union during the early 1950's. Although Iannucci has altered and compressed events for dramatic reasons, the overall effect matches the picture in Taubman's biography "Khrushchev : the man and his era". This Praesidium was a gang of fools who could only play at governance. A good film if dark is to your taste.
