The cast of characters is minimal--almost too minimal even for someone like me who prefers fewer extraneous characters. The beginning is a "downer" mood. Though the main character undergoes a transformation, I didn't feel like the transformation was reflected in the narrative or writing style--something I would have liked to have seen happen. I didn't think there was enough emphasis on the Christian part for this to be called a "Christian romance novella". I was disturbed that Logan seemed to rely on being in love with a woman to be able to produce a painting.… (mehr)
