Madhouse of Language: Writing and Reading Madness… von Allan Ingram
This was a fascinating look into the relationship of madness to reading and writing in the Eighteenth Century, and reads more like a story than a piece of nonfiction. If you like 18th Century literature or you're interested in madness as a part of culture or affliction, this book would be a great investment.
Readable and interesting with extensive incorporation of history as well as literary criticism, this is worth picking up if any portion of the subjectmatter sounds like it fits your interest.
