Great Book! As I live in Alexandria, Egypt, I have been able to visit many of the sites which are mentioned in the book. In many cases, I have been able to point out various points of interest of some sites which the local tour guides didn't know about (I used to work in the tourism industry here, am having more fun being retired and taking the same tours). For anyone interested in the Roman occupation of Egypt or the early evolution of mining practices here, this is the book to read.
