The mystery itself was pretty good, but I didn't care for most of characters. I also found it very repetitive. If you tend to get lost often or are a slow reader this may be a positive for you.
I was intrigued and I couldn't' put this book DOWN!!
I AM IN LOVE WITH KATE WALSH, an FBI Agent and intriguing woman! Reading Mad Jack is the first book that I read from Ms. Jones and I was not disappointed. I wish that I could read more in this series and I read the books out of order AGAIN, but I had no problem. The deaths of couples spanning back five years had cold cases, Jack had a tight reign on who was invited into his program and his staff catered to his whims with no thought about right or wrong and Kate and her partner, Declan were sent in undercover as husband and wife to find answers as it appeared that Jack had high officials behind him.… (mehr)
OH MY GOSH! I was captivated from the first as I have never heard of this author, and I can't believe that I failed to do so! I was engrossed with these two agents from the start and I liked that they worked so well together than no words were necessary. Kate was so self assured that she rarely doubted herself, but the ninth woman killed had her in a tizzy and she couldn't quite put her finger on why. I AM NOW A KATE WALSH FAN AND I LONGED FOR MORE, ON TO YOUR NEXT CASE KATE!
