A boy packs his lunch with delicious items, and then shares it with a friend who has forgotten his own lunch at school.
This biography tells the life story of George Washington Carver and his accomplishments.
When I was in fifth grade, we did an invention convention and I did a report on George Washington Carver. I consider this book to be an excellent representation of facts on George Washington Carver, the book had a lot of graphs to help all different types of readers. Overall, I think this is a wonderful book and I would love to keep it in my future classroom.

2. teach students about George Washington Carver.
3. present students to a table of content, glossary, and index.
Critique: "George Washington Carver" is a good example of a biography/nformational book because it has a table of context, it includes a Word Hunt at the beginning of the book so students can look or pay attention for the key words in the book, it includes a timeline of how peanuts grow, and it includes a glossary at the end of the book.… (mehr)
