I enjoyed this intriguing romance. I voluntarily chose to review this story and I've given it a 4.5* rating. This has a lot of twists and turns and I didn't guess till the very end on this one. It had a very interesting ending. Lots of action to keep you turning the page. This is not for the under 18 readers.

The bodyguard, Damas, was the most realistic character. Mia was just a whinny person and acted like she cared about her daughter but until she was in trouble I did not get the feeling she ever even noticed her. Alexa had moments of intelligence but too much of the book she acted like she was just another ditzy blond. I enjoyed the ending episodes.

Good light reading book. Some histocical facts in this book about the Irish and English. This was my second time to read it.

Stacy Ashford heads into Rural America to renovate the Hotel left to her by her eccentric uncle. Her inheritance depends on this renovation and a stormy night leads her to the arms of Josh Spencer. The hotel is the last place his sister was and the place she lost her life, however her case was never solved to Josh's satisfaction.

He can help her and maybe in helping her he can help himself.

It's not bad but it really didn't come across as much of a paranormal story.
