I can’t tell you how much I loved Vaughn. He was such an enigmatic person in the beginning but as we read we start to see this other side of him that he doesn’t like to show the media or pretty much anyone else, he was a beautiful person inside and out even if he came off as having a “leave me alone” persona. This book surrounds the relationship between Vaughn and Natalie as they try to navigate the situation, they have got themselves in. Natalie is the younger sister to Vaughn’s team captain, and he is in hot water already for fighting, etc and he wants out of Chicago but he is insanely attracted to and falling for Natalie. They try hard to fight it but they can’t so we get to watch as they try to figure how this will work. I loved loved loved this book.… (mehr)

This was a cute and fun read that at times would have me swooning so hard for Quinn then other moments kind of sad for George because their history. Quinn and George have a history but with turns of events Quinn doesn’t recognize her or act like he knows her and this further makes George angry because it’s been years that she’s compared every man to him and this makes her so upset. Not to give too much away I love this series, the group dynamics, the laughs, the swoons, and the hot hockey players.… (mehr)

Omg I just want to say I love Rux so much it hurts. Now that I have that out of my system, maybe a little bit, this book was so good I didn’t want to put it down, but I needed how the story would end up. Rux is this overly hot, sexy hockey player that is also goofy, loves to have fun and thinks he isn’t good for anyone when as the reader we know it isn’t true. If look past his goofy fun-loving ways we can see that deep down something is haunting him, but he has found his comfort in Cammy and her son. He will do anything for them and has this need to protect them no matter what, but he refuses to acknowledge any underlying feelings. Cammy is a single mother who has done everything in her power to provide the best life for her kid and her best friend Rux has been there for her in every possible way, but the attraction they have is always put on the back burner for the sake of not disrupting the friendship. These two are perfect for each other even if they don’t want to acknowledge it, until Rux sets out to put a guy in his place by showing him what he is missing in Cammy. They pretend in public to be a couple, but their attraction can’t be denied. Can they find their way around the friend zone to be more or will the past and self-doubts stand in their way to happiness? I thought Vaughn was my main hockey guy but Rux has stolen his place and now they are tied as the best hot hockey players in my mind. Can’t wait for more from this series.… (mehr)

Wade was such an amazing guy!! He was smart, kind, sweet, and loyal. Wade needed to find a date for his brother’s wedding that was coming up and after a horrible day at the job Harlow volunteers. Harlow is a hard worker, is out to prove herself to her dad, doesn’t date jocks, and is incredibly smart. She doesn’t stand up for herself too much and tends to stay in her own head, but for an escape she decides helping Wade is just what she needs. These two act like the perfect couple then attraction and chemistry come into play making it hard for them to determine what is acting and what is real. Can Wade help Harlow see her worth and make her his? Can Harlow learn to let go and find her happiness within herself and Wade? I loved Wade so much he was perfect book boyfriend material and I loved Harlow but at times when she fought against her own happiness and stayed in her own head, she was tad annoying. I couldn’t stand Kelsey and knew she was borderline psychotic with her attraction to Wade and they way she was always coming on to him even when he would set the record straight was infuriating. This was a cute and fun read with amazing characters throughout and I can’t wait for more.… (mehr)
