This book tells the story of 13 different Chinese that grew up in other countries outside of China, then returned to find their roots. It was interesting why each one decided to make the trip. What I really found interesting is that all but one of these people were raised by their birth families and still felt the pull to find their roots. It is not just the children we adopted that have this longing to go. I highly recommend the book to adoptive parents to see the range of emotions, reasons and outcomes.… (mehr)
