Diana Hanbury King (1927–2018)

Diana Hanbury King was born in London, England on September 2, 1927. She received a bachelor's degree from the University of London and a master's degree from George Washington University. Before emigrating to the United States in 1950, she taught at a boys' boarding school in Southern Rhodesia. mehr anzeigen She taught at Sidwell Friends School in Washington and became a naturalized citizen. In 1955, she opened Camp Dunnabeck in western Pennsylvania, offering a six-week program for dyslexic children.
