Shoulder-a-Coffin Kuro is a fascinating tale of a young traveler who carries a coffin on her back. The coffin contains bats, the leader of which provides advice and companionship. Along the way, they meet interesting and strange characters. As the story unfolds, readers get glimpses of what the young traveler, Kuro, is searching for and why she carries a coffin, though by the end of the first volume, readers will be left with more questions than answers.

I randomly picked this book while doing a general search for manga on my library's website. I'm so glad I took a chance on this book, and I can't wait to continue the series.… (mehr)
