1 star for the depressed bonus story
The art. The writing. Thor's new concerns. That splash page. Loki.
Donny Cates is quickly becoming my favourite comic book author. This story has all the potential to slide totally off the rails, but somehow, I think this team is going to knock it right out of the park.
UPDATE: I know it's not news, but damn, sometimes I can be a moron. I just realized I reviewed the trade that collects the first six issues of this run, which obviously isn't out yet, as issue five was just released yesterday (as of this writing). So this was supposed to be for only the first issue. But honestly, it likely stands for the entire series, as this is easily the best Thor I've read so far.… (mehr)

Holy mother of god, Donny Cates and Nic Klein are absolutely killing it. I expected big. I expected cosmic. I expected...well, I expected a lot.
But I truly didn't expect this.
Hands down, without a doubt, no question in my mind, the absolute best superhero series out there right now. Cates and Klein have done what no other team or comic series has done in decades for me...they've made me excited to see the newest comic on the shelves each month.
