This book is about a little boy that is not afraid of monsters becasue he claims that they are his friends. He has different kinds of monsters that live all over his house. Some live in his closet and some live in his fridge. These monsters help out with different jobs around the house. Eventhough all the monsters are not always nice, they still help out and that is all that matters. The mosters are shocked when it comes to the little boy because they do not understand how he is not afraid of them but he is afraid of broccoli.
