I listened to this as an audio book through Overdrive. The songs were catchy and I could see where a child, who could listen to this repetitively, could potentially get a lot out of it. From my own point of view, however, I don't think this is one of the best options for learning the language. Out of the several songs in the book, I think three really taught me something (the songs about the zoo, the days of the week and the seasons). The others went to fast and at times I couldn't understand what was being said, even when I listened very hard.

Definitely a good book for children to learn a language, not so sure it will work for most adults.… (mehr)
