I loved this book when I was a little girl and it's still very enjoyable. It's full of pretty color illustrations that are not photographs. I wonder if the originals were drawn with pastels. The text explains how flowers grow from seeds or bulbs or from the adult plant. Readers are also told about where and when flowers grow. The flowers in the pictures are clearly labled. I would definitely recommend it for young children or anyone who likes pretty flowers in art.
