I won this book in a Goodreads giveaway.

I've always been a fan of true crime and was excited to get a copy of this book. The case sounded compelling and intriguing.

Unfortunately, I did not enjoy reading it.

The way the book is written jumps around in the timeline making it all seem disjointed. Many things were repeated over and over when they wouldn't have if the story was told in a linear manner.

I didn't mind that the author added in parts of what was going on in his own life during parts of the story, but there needed to be much more of it. Or none of it at all. As it was it detracted from the crime/trial story and added to the disjointedness of the book.… (mehr)
