Such a powerful book. I was amazed at how a simple picture book could contain so much of our world and what it is like for some people. I definitely want to read this for my students, even if they may not understand it, if they have in the back of their minds, maybe one day they might recall this book when they learn history in depth. It really made me appreciate all that I take for granted.
