charts , tables, measurements, sizes, helpful information for planning quilts. Very dry, boring material until you want shortcuts to figure out sizes of blocks and number of blocks needed in a particular size to make a certain size quilt- then this book is very valuable.
Very old, but an excellent book for explaining all you ever wanted to know about designing, drafting, sewing and perfecting your own log cabin blocks. Includes an appendice with a cpyrighted, Magic-Number System that deserves praise for relieving you of having to calculate strips on your own. Designs are a bit old-fashioned for today's standards, but hello, nost of us quilter's LOVE the old stuff.
