Full of colorful characters and rogues it probes into Toronto the Good's reputation. I picked this book to see if Murdoch Mysteries had any historical basis and the short answer is some.

Thank you to Edelweiss and the publisher for an e-ARC copy of the book in exchange for my honest opinion. I love true crime stories and honestly there are not a whole lot of different ways to write/present them but to my surprise the author did. This story is truly complete and gives you updates relevant to today which I appreciated as I didn't have to constantly go to wiki. You have to read this for yourself to see the difference. Hopefully other true crime authors will learn a trick or two.
