It has 267 woods from around the world & briefly discusses the use, commercial name(s) & more about each wood. The color pictures are nice, too. Not quite as useful as some other guides I have, because it only hits the top few woods around the world & I tend to work with local woods only, so I have better references on them. It does occasionally add a bit to the local woods & I would highly recommend it to anyone that buys imported woods. It is a real eye-opener sometimes.
