xcellent font if you get the book (my poor eyes) The flow of the story moved smoothly. The author made me feel a basket full of emotions. Tolomay trained by her father will be the first in the New World via her father's machine. Photographic memory, brute strength, knowledge beyond her peers, no room for weakness. Her survival skills is something to be admired. Gathering herbs, hunting, fighting back a bear, wolves, cougars. Now her New World turn inside out when twins Kenter and Lethia enters. Wills of authority is challenged but if they want to learn in the New World Tolomay need to teach them how to stay alive. The New World is not without its secrets. Kenter wants metal and glass, while Lethia wants to build and construct. Secrets unfold, attraction becomes noticeable than BANG three more people from Kenter and Lethia's world enters the New World. This book ended to soon for me I wanted more but all good things come to the end, yeah, the end of the book, SHUCKS:) GREAT READING!!!! Last survivors of a decimated earth send a few people into the far future where the earth has recovered enough to support humanity once again. The intriguing premise is spoiled by flawed writing. Many errors would be picked up by a good copy editor. It's possible the author was content with publishing her first draft (a problem far too prevalent these days). This is the first in a series... hopefully the author will learn the craft better as we go, including researching, editing, tightening, filling holes, maintaining consistency, believable characterization, etc.… (mehr)
