Rezensionen

Children's picture book author, Jill Roman Lord, never disappoints with her whimsical, truthful, Biblical children's books. Her rhyming story telling has a sweet rhythm and rhyme that will engage little ones as they listen to you read and re-read the books.

In Noah's Gloomy Joyful Ark what could be a gloomy, rainy day read becomes one of rejoicing as the child can see the joy of the boarding animals. It will be a reminder to adults that this was indeed a gloomy and joyful time. Gloomy for those lost and joyful for those saved. But the deeper subject is not broached for young readers. The joy is simply evident throughout the book.

I love that this book has 24 pages - way more than one normally has in a kiddie board book. I highly recommend this book.

It is a joy to read author Jill Roman Lord's children's books. They are spiritually intact, have a sweet rhyming rhythm that brings lyric expression to the reading, and tells Biblical stories or teaches love and good behavior. Her latest LOVE WELL, MY PRECIOUS ONE! has all of the above.

Beautifully illustrated in a breezy, flowing, modern style without being abstract, and with gentle yet bold colored illustrations, children are lovingly told to show their expressions of love for one another through their daily deeds of kindness, consideration, and sharing. They are encouraged to help at home, play well, share, and to overcome their baser instincts with loving thoughts and acts.

I highly recommend this book for all children.

And frankly, I'd love to see this embraced by our entire world and peoples of all ages and faiths.

This was such a beautiful board big that has very bold, striking illustrations. Young children will love listening to this story being read aloud. Each verse rhymes so well. The story talks about all the potential a child has of growing up to live a full life and how God is there to guide them along their way. I can't wait to read this to my pre-school classes. It has a beautiful message and colorful illustrations. I received a complimentary book from LibraryThing Early Reviewers in exchange for a review.… (mehr)

Dream Big, My Precious One is a lovely board book, kind of a "oh, the places you'll go" sort of story for the toddler set. It is published by Worthy Kids, a Christian imprint of Hachette; there are several references to praying and to God. It portrays many different choices of professions with diverse, attractive pictures.
