Climb to the Lost World von Hamish MacInnes
Quite an interesting story, but he's not the world's best writer by any means.
MacInnes is an entertaining writer, thus he describes what is on the face of it a rather strange piece of climbing exploration. The history and myth surrounding the plateau the team ascend are well documented through the course of the account. The eventual attainment of the summit is a bit of an anti-climax. Even so, this book is a must read for students of climbing literature.
