A. H. Macmillan (1877–1966)

I concur with the remark in the introduction, "I believe Mr. McMillan has made a sincere effort to capture and portray the very essence of the religion that he acknowledges has given meaning to his life. He reveals Jehovah's witnesses as human. He admits their mistakes and explains why no human organization can be infallible." This was an eye widening book into the world of a religious organization and its foundation. I enjoy hearing autobiographical accounts containing experiences unique to the author. This religious organization is one of the most most disliked and liked in the world...misunderstood, misquoted, why? This book may help answer those questions.… (mehr)
