The Romance of the Indian Frontiers von George MacMunn
MacMunn, an Artilleryman, wrote at least six books mainly dealing with the Indian Empire of Britain. In this book he surveys the borders of that empire with some ethnography thrown in. His prose was clear and workmanlike. He was a servant of the empire, and did his job I am sure.
