Conroy Maddox (1912–2005)

A decent historical book documenting and showcasing more of Dali's work- including some more famous pieces. It is considered an artbook, but also details a historical biography of Dali's life and gives a chronological timeline of events in the end of the book. I found that the text was sometimes dry but I believe it was translated from another language. It also offers some interpretation of Dali's art, so the art-snob language can cake onto certain passages. Sadly, my favorite painting does not make an appearance in the book- but it is the main cover.… (mehr)
