an old favourite from my childhood, never fails to delight

I re-read a bunch of old books at the beginning of 2016 when my mum gave me some boxes to look through. I actually got this one relatively recently, probably around ten years ago. I've had the previous book in the series probably for twenty years. Doing these illusions is like coming back to an old friend!

I discovered that I had a natural talent for seeing these kinds of images. I once inadvertently stared a geometric pattern of black and white mosaic tiles on a bathroom floor for a few extra seconds, and all of a sudden the floor pattern popped out in 3D. So when I found this book and opened it randomly to a page, sure enough I could see the hidden image. This book is a lot of fun to look at regularly!
