Maheshvarananda

I bought this after dropping in on a film and workshop by Paul Alister and Dr Michael Towsey at the 2004 Brisbane Social Forum where they were explaining their Prout vision as applied just north of here at Maleny -- and they of course were promoting this book as part of that. I was also impressed by Towsey having recently returned from Venezuela having been an adviser to Chavez on how to organize their oil industry so that the profits were funnelled back to the local communities. I was also impressed by a Chomsky recommendation I read somewhere. Unfortunately my personal anarchism and community empowerment interests leave too little room for personal interest in "the spiritual" underpinnings of Prout for me to have been able to find the time to give this book the attention it probably deserves.… (mehr)
