A poor retelling of the story of King David - better to read it in the Bible. The form is interesting -using different narrators to tell the story. However, and although David was no 'angel' the author makes out David as a scheming character. Bathseba is also portrayed as desiring her way into David's bedroom.
The formatting for the Kindle version is not good, and become terrible about halfway through, making reading very difficult.
