This was super cute and felt like a hug on a cold winter day. I like how Manning threaded some folklore into the story. It added a nice touch. And I also liked how the romance seemed plausible even though the book is so short. Well done. Read my full review here.
A heartwarming story, perfect to curl up with on a cold winter's day. Easy reading, quick and witty, light relief for between more angsty and involved reads. I enjoyed the wordplay between the hero and heroine, and the lovely small town characterisations.

It was a pretty mediocre romantic comedy novel, but unfortunately nothing particularly stood out from it. It was a quick and easy read if you're looking for something to pass the time with. I wish I had felt more of a connection with the characters and story but I felt nada. Calum and Georgia attraction was immediate and the relationship escalated pretty quickly within 10 day. Besides that, I didn't feel like there was any real chemistry between them besides sexual but who am I to say how love works?! Overall, nothing to brag about.… (mehr)
