- Roland broke into comics in 1989 as a writer of indy comics, where he wrote such titles as Cat & Mouse, Miss Fury, Rocket Ranger, Demon’s Tales, and others… He started freelance editing in ‘91 when he saw there was a wealth of untapped talent in the South Mississippi region. That produced such works as Sirens, Mantis Files, and The Pendulum.
