Peg Marberg

Jean Hastings and her daughter are the interior design firm Designer Jeans in their small Indiana town. At the gala re-opening of their latest project, an Art Deco country club restaurant, the club manager falls dead. Jean works to find the murderer, who begins to look very sick and dangerous.

This is a rather mediocre example of the cozy mystery. I read it because it was set in Indiana. The amateur detective wasn't as annoying as she could have been. The plot was a bit garbled, but what I found most annoying was that the interior design element is dropped after the first few chapters.… (mehr)
