I couldn't put this book down! Got if free on Amazon, and will definitely purchase the next one in the series. I love that the lead male is the one that is over the top in love with the lead female and has no issues, while the female is only slightly damaged.

I was not expecting this book to keep me riveted. I had read the blurb and it sounded interesting. It was more than that. There was suspense, there was heat, there was paybacks, and then there was love. I keep thinking of the famous quote by Walter Scott, "oh what a tangled web weave when we first practice to deceive" and how it applies perfectly here.
Annie/Embyr what a contradiction she has become. Fighting to right the wrongs of her past yet experiencing feelings she wasn't supposed to, nor did she anticipate. Casen, sweet lord, that sweet pure hearted man. / Swoon.
This book was a great ride with a reminder that karma will always get you in the end.… (mehr)
