Thomas A. Marks

Dr Thomas A. Marks is currently based at the Academy of the Pacific in Honolulu, Hawaii where he teaches social sciences. His books include Making Revolution: The Insurgency of the Communist Party of Thailand in Structural Perspective, and The British Acquisition of Siamese Malaya (1896-1909), both published by White Lotus Press of Bangkok; and Maoist Insurgency Since Vietnam, published by Frank Cass, a Choice magazine selection as an 'Outstanding Academic Book of 1996.'
