Kurzbiographie: from publisher page: Clair G. Martin is the author of Smith & Hawken: 100 English Roses for the American Garden. He has been the Curator of Rose Collections at the Huntington Botanical Gardens in San Marino, California, since 1982. A writer and lecturer who travels around the world to meet with fellow rosarians, he has participated in numerous television productions, including The Quest for the Rose (BBC) and PBS's Great Gardens of the World with Audrey Hepburn. Mr. Martin lives in Pasadena, close to the Huntington and his garden of 2,000 cultivars and species of roses.
