Miranda Martin

Fun quickie. Not fully developed characters, but a nice intro.

I don't like this stuff as much as the early books.

A first for this series: taken over by a new author! There are a few differences in writing style that I see, but Miranda has stayed largely true to the premise. I did find the heroine to be a bit ... pissy. She could have used some maturing really.

I will be interested to see where this goes. A nice read, esp for those that like the series.

Good except for the BS about giving birth by c/s being better than the normal way. That is complete and utter BS. My rating went from a 5 to a 3 on that bit. It is NOT in any way, shape or form better for the child to be taken out over birthed, with the exception of a birth complication. Babies born vaginally are generally healthier and have fewer issues. And women's bodies are healthier as well. That whole scene was a big turn off and made me very angry that the author was propagandizing.
