Great story, but the premise of kids building "forest giants" is too implausible for a story written in a relatively realistic vein. Still, 3½*** and would be higher if the final battle scene were more plausibly constructed.

Dave Matthews is not only an ah-mazing musical artist, but Kirra’s story is weaved together bringing readers into a Storyteller’s world. Children and adults will devour this book! Must read and excellent addition for my classroom library soon! Thank you, NetGalley for the ARC! I am excited for readers to experience this adventure!
